Why an account can be suspended
Updated: 2026-05-29
Syklo works because people trust each other when they trade. To protect that trust, sometimes we have to suspend accounts that put everyone else at risk.
Most common reasons
- Sending fake or edited payment proofs.
- Trying to scam a counterparty in a trade.
- Filing a chargeback after receiving your dollars.
- Using fake identity documents during verification.
- Creating multiple accounts to dodge a limit or a penalty.
A normal dispute is not grounds for suspension. If two people don't agree on a trade, a Syklo judge reviews the evidence and decides — that's a normal part of the system.
If you think your account was suspended by mistake, write to support@syklo.io from your email. We review each case with the evidence we have.
