How is my money protected?

Your dollars in Syklo are USDC, a digital currency that's always worth the same as a dollar (1 USDC = 1 USD), backed by real reserves.
Three protections
- They're yours. Your USDC live in your own account, not a Syklo account. We can't freeze or move them.
- The exchange is protected. When you trade, the dollars are held (escrow) until both people confirm. No one can leave without delivering.
- If there's a problem, there's a judge. A Syklo judge reviews the receipts and decides. A real person, not an algorithm.
Even if Syklo stopped existing tomorrow, your dollars would still be yours on the Stellar network. There's nothing for us to take.
