Help with a stuck transaction

Sometimes a trade gets stuck waiting: the counterparty doesn't confirm, or the status won't change. This almost always gets resolved. Here's what to do.

From the trade chat you can message the counterparty and upload your receipt.

If you already paid and the counterparty won't confirm

  1. Check that you uploaded the payment receipt in the trade chat.
  2. Wait a few minutes — sometimes the other person is finishing verifying.
  3. If time passes and they don't respond, open a dispute from the trade itself.

When you open a dispute, the dollars stay frozen in escrow and a Syklo judge reviews both parties' evidence to decide.
