How does my private key work?

Your private key is like the key to a safe that only you have. It's what proves those dollars are yours and what lets you move them.
On Syklo, you control your account. That's why we call it non-custodial: we don't hold your key and can't use your dollars.
Do I have to memorize anything strange?
For everyday use, no. You protect your account with your email and a PIN. The key works behind the scenes to keep your dollars safe, without you having to think about it.
Since you're in control, guarding access to your account matters most. Never share your PIN or the codes we email you. Syklo will never ask you for them.
What if I lose access?
As long as you have your email, you can get back in. If you forgot your PIN, see Forgot my PIN. If you have questions, write to support@syklo.io.
